St. Xavier at Lakota West Soccer

The match up between St. Xavier and Lakota West brought together the top two teams in the Enquirer coaches’ poll.  Both the JV and Varsity games were good matches.  The Varsity game was physical with neither team wanting to give an inch to their opponent.  Images from the games are available through the Game Images link above.  Here are a few of my favorites from the game:

High School Senior Session

Once again the weather was not playing nice on the day this high school senior session was originally scheduled.  Moving it back a few days gave us much better weather.  We met up at a place I had not photographed at in at least a year.  It was nice going to a different location.  I did make sure to go a few days before the session to scope it out.  The senior’s dad kept us laughing throughout the session.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session:

Western Hills at Lakota East Football

The first Friday night football game of the 2012 season was on the hot side.  Trainers kept water bottles full and encouraged the players to keep hydrating.  For Western Hills it is probably a game they would like to forget and for Lakota East it was a good way to start the season.  Here are a few of my favorites from the game:

High School Senior Session

For this session we started in the studio before heading to one of my favorite parks.  Even though the forecast was calling for rain we had beautiful weather and gorgeous natural light.  Here are a few of my favorites from the senior session:

Golf

I have photographed several schools at the Sycamore Golf Invitational now for three years.  This is the first year where it was not 90+ degrees and humid.  It was a beautiful day that threatened rained for awhile but none fell from the sky.  Walden Ponds did a great job keeping the course in good playing condition given the drought we have been experiencing.  There were not a lot of happy faces on the golfers though as they struggled for low scores.  I struggled to get faces thanks to the ball caps a lot of the golfers were wearing to block the sun when it did peak through the clouds.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
