Spring

Well we have the rain today that is normal for Spring.  The dropping temperatures not so much.  There are definitely signs of Spring though.  Everything is greening up and the birds are nesting.  A robin decided to make its nest on one of our window ledges.  I managed to grab a quick image of the nest with one egg in in.  The nest now has three eggs and the robin has been sitting there for a few days.  I need to pop out the screen sometime when it is gone so I can get better images.  So here is an image to try to help you get the feel of Spring:

More High School Basketball Tournament Action

I photographed a couple boys high school basketball tournament games.  Withrow beat Mason and Lakota East dispatched Oak Hills.  The games were played at Lakota West high school which gave me the ability to grab some action images from a higher angle which I love.  Plus there is less chance of a player or ref running through the frame at the last minute.  Here are some of my favorites from the games:

The Oak Hills player goes up for the shot between two Lakota East defenders.

High School Basketball Tournament Time

On Wednesday evening I was at Kings High School for some tournament basketball games.  Oak Hills was taking on Mason followed by Lakota East against Harrison.  Mason and Lakota East came out the winners of their respective games.  Even though the scores might not reflect it, there was plenty of intense action by all the teams.  Nobody was ready for their season to be over.  Here are a few of my favorites from the games:

High School Senior Session

I have photographed this high school senior over the course of her golf career at Lakota East High School.  I was honored when her mom called to setup a time to meet to discuss doing her high school senior pictures.  We made sure we were on the same page and talked about a few things she definitely wanted.  The weather was on our side as it was not too hot and we finished before the chill really set in.  Though it is always colder when riding around in a golf cart 🙂  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.
